One (1) prenatal visit

·         We will discuss and create a birth “wish list.”

·         I will make sure that you are educating yourself on birthing, breastfeeding and baby care.

·         We will take care of any contractual paperwork.

Available for Q&A

·         I will make sure that you understand your patient rights.

·         I am available 24/7 for on call support.

At the Hospital, Home or Birth Center

·         When your labor begins, either with surges (contractions) or with the release of your bag of waters along with surges, I can meet you at your home before going to your birth venue. Here I offer you support and help you to be more comfortable.   Normally, I arrive when surges are about 5 minutes apart.

During Labor  

·         I will provide you with massage, aromatherapy, and position changes.

·         I will provide continual encouragement and be your ever present advocate.

·         I will stay for about one hour immediately following the birth to help
you get started with breastfeeding and answer any questions you may have.

One (1) postpartum visit 

·         Here we will discuss your birth experience, basic baby care, breastfeeding, and mommy care (physically and emotionally).
