I have an amazing husband Dave, who is a fantastic teacher, specializing in private music instruction.  We have been married for 11 years, and we have 3 incredible children, ages 10, 7, and 4 whom I have the privilege of homeschooling. 

Becoming a doula for me has shown to be a great decision.  I feel so blessed to be invited into the lives of couples during their most intimate moments.  I chose this after the homebirth of my sister-in-law.  It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and I knew I had to do it again.  She asked me to be her doula, so I read all that I could to prepare for the birth.  At the birth of my beautiful niece, Aline, I gave my sister-in-law massage, counter pressure, some affirmations, (though she had experience in hypnobirthing), and continuous support from beginning to end.  As I mentioned earlier, after the birth, I began the certification process to become a doula.  So here I am:  excited about the future for both you and me.  I hope you will invite me into your family!



Birth is not about making babies.  Birth is about making mothers~ strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength.
